- will follow your exact instructions and the instructions in the employee handbook
- will communicate with you as company policy dictates
- will follow all jurisdictional laws and ordinances
- will allow you to supervise them, announced or unannounced
- will not talk on the phone (unless brief work related or emergency calls), continuously socialize with humans, smoke or otherwise be distracted while your dog is in their care
- will not walk with your dog off-leash, tether him or her unattended, or open car windows while driving below a safe amount
- will not solicit any other service or product other than Club Wag’s services or products
Philosophy
Many dogs are best served when they are enabled to be active, social and outside. For many dogs, being home alone all day or running circles in doggy daycare is not the best option. We choose to care for dogs in the best possible way we know how – through mid-day walks or by taking very small groups of dogs to parks, walks, hikes, swims, and other places that fulfill their needs. Unlike any other service, we ensure that your dog is safe and enriched by a 3 dog to 1 human ratio (for adventure excursions, 1 to 1 for mid-day walks), so you can rest assured that they are properly cared for, kept safe, and have the personal attention that you would give them.
Our business philosophy is summed up by three goals:
- To allow a dog to enjoy life as a dog
- To offer the lowest possible dog to handler ratio
- To be your partner in your dog’s care
Service and the environment
The staff at Club Wags first and foremost are dog lovers. As such, we have committed a minimum of five percent of all pre-tax profits to dog rescue groups. We also encourage all staff members to volunteer at least five hours per months with a dog rescue.
Club Wags also recognizes that a commitment to the environment goes hand in hand with working with such engaging animals. As such, we try to minimize driving distances, and use only recyclable, biodegradable and sustainable materials.
